This Privacy Policy explains how Games Fort Studios ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our websites, games, apps and related services (together, the "Services"), including our salary ledger app PayNod. By using our Services, you agree to the practices described here.

01Information We Collect

We collect information in the ways described below. The exact data collected depends on which Services you use and the choices you make.

Information you provide

  • Contact details — name, email address and phone number, for example when you fill in a contact form or request a consultation.
  • Account & profile data — username, display name and preferences where a game or app offers an account.
  • Communications — the content of messages, support requests and feedback you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information — device model, operating system, unique device or advertising identifiers, and language settings.
  • Gameplay & usage data — game progress, in-app actions, session length, crashes and performance diagnostics.
  • Approximate location — derived from IP address; we do not collect precise GPS location unless a feature requires it and you grant permission.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — used on our website for functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

02How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate and maintain our games, apps and website.
  • Improve, personalize and develop new features and content.
  • Respond to inquiries, deliver support and communicate about updates.
  • Analyze usage and performance to enhance the user experience.
  • Display and measure advertising, where applicable.
  • Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security issues and technical problems.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

04Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted vendors who process data on our behalf (hosting, analytics, advertising, payment and customer support) under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Games Fort Studios, our users or the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your information.
  • With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time.

05Third-Party Services & Advertising

Our games and apps may use third-party SDKs and services for analytics, advertising, attribution and crash reporting (for example, platform providers such as Google Play services and advertising networks). These parties may collect device and usage identifiers subject to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the policies of any third-party service you interact with.

You can limit ad tracking through your device settings — for example, "Reset advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android, and the equivalent controls on iOS.

06PayNod App

PayNod is our Android app for recording salaries and advances between an employer and their staff. Everything in this policy applies to PayNod. This section adds the details that are specific to it.

What PayNod collects

  • Mobile number — to sign you in with a one-time code (OTP) and to link a staff member to the account their employer created for them.
  • Name — your name, the names and job roles of the people an employer adds to a group, and the names and mobile numbers of any other payers the employer adds.
  • Salary records — monthly salary amounts and the entries users record: salary paid, advance given and repayment, with the amount, date, payment method (cash, UPI or bank), an optional reference number, and the name of who recorded and who accepted each entry.
  • Payment screenshots — only when a user chooses to attach one to an entry as proof of payment. PayNod opens the system file picker for that one image and does not read the rest of your gallery.
  • Notification token — an identifier issued to your device so that the app can notify you about entries.

PayNod does not access your contacts list, your messages or your precise location.

Who can see PayNod records

  • An employer can see the groups they created and the records of the people in those groups.
  • An employer can add other payers to a group by mobile number, for example a family member who also pays the staff. A payer can see that group, the people in it and their records, and can record and answer entries there. They cannot see the employer's other groups. The employer can remove a payer at any time.
  • A staff member can see only their own account. They cannot see other staff or other groups.
  • A payment screenshot can be seen only by the staff member on that entry and the people who pay in that group.

When an employer adds you by your mobile number, your name, number, role and salary are stored in their group before you sign in. If you believe you were added by mistake, contact us and we will help.

Where PayNod data is kept

PayNod uses Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Firebase Cloud Messaging) to sign users in, store the records and deliver notifications. Google processes this data on our behalf. To send the one-time code and to check that a sign-in request comes from a genuine device, Google also processes your mobile number and basic device information. Data is encrypted while it is sent between the app and the servers.

PayNod is a record book. It does not send, receive or hold money, and it never asks for your card details, UPI PIN or bank password.

07Children's Privacy

Some of our games are designed for a general or family audience. Where a game is directed to children, we take care to comply with applicable laws such as COPPA and the Google Play Families Policy, and we limit data collection to what is necessary to run the game. PayNod is intended for people aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that violates these laws. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us at gamesfortstudiosofficial@gmail.com and we will delete it.

08Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. In PayNod, your account and records are kept for as long as your account exists, so that both sides keep a full history, and are deleted when you ask us to delete your account.

09Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at gamesfortstudiosofficial@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

You can also request deletion of an account and its data. The steps are in Delete Your Account & Data below.

11Delete Your Account & Data

You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time. This applies to PayNod and to any of our games or apps that offer an account.

How to request deletion

  • Email gamesfortstudiosofficial@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" and the name of the app, for example PayNod.
  • For PayNod, include the mobile number you use to sign in. For a game, include your username or player ID.
  • We may contact you to confirm the request is from you.
  • We delete the data within 30 days of confirming the request.

In PayNod you can also start this from inside the app: open PayNod and choose Delete my account.

What is deleted in PayNod

  • For everyone — your login, your name, your mobile number and your notification token.
  • If you are an employer — the groups you created, the people you added to them, every salary, advance and repayment entry in those groups, and all attached payment screenshots.
  • If you are a staff member or an added payer — your login and profile.

What is kept

  • Entries that an employer recorded about payments to a staff member stay in that employer's account, because they are also the employer's own records. They are deleted when the employer removes them or deletes their own account.
  • Information we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires.

12International Transfers

We are based in India and may process and store information in India and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for cross-border transfers of personal information.

13Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
